Was at the british car day few week ago, had rs owners club sticker on window. mk1 rs alloys,6 dial dash rs steering wheel. Think I saw something like this in book on ford rs cars once was a prototype rally car?
It's a Ford Frauway, basically an escort Mexico with a Frua body on it.
The AVO plant was going to build 500 of them, but the project got shelved.
I'm pretty sure that's the only one.. it's UK reg number was UEV 790K
I have a magazine article somewhere, If I get time later I'll scan it & put it on here.
I think classic ford featured it as well.

Graham the green one is a Cirus, based on an RS1600.
It was the result of a design competition run by ford.
Again there are mag articles somewhere... It was at AVO day a couple of years back.
I thought a couple had been built.
Loks like a cross between a Europa and an Elan but not that different than some of the early design ideas for the MkI either
