Jaygee have been around for years - Spring Road Bilston Nr Wolverhampton
Steering and Suspension specialists (proper Old Skool repairers and not just "fit new" bolt on bolt off merchants)
Excellent for refurbing steering rack or steering boxes etc
They charged me £20 7 years ago to strip check and replace worn bushes on my MKII Escort quick rack

quite, you don't have to replace with new all the time, but if the track rods are worn they're worn, same as the bushes in the rack. If you're lucky it's just a bit of play which you can reshim, i.e. take shims out, if not then new parts have be acquired and fitted.
Not hard on a MkII rack, but everything's got it's life and when gone beyond it it's usually major repair or chuck and fit new, the track rods aren't dear but should cost £20 alone
