Hello all,does anyone remember years ago in the tv programme The Bill on ITV,I am positive one of the detectives in the show drove either a signal yellow 1600 sport MK2 or a signal yellow Mexico MK2,i am pretty sure it had stripes on the bonnet,hopefully someone can confirm this,so i am not imagining it.Regards Gixer1000.

Nope, that was the Bill.

I met the cast of The Bill in 1986 when after a real Police under cover drug operation we stopped at Heston Services for some grub, they were there filming.(they autographed our operation order,couldn't do that now with discloser laws)
The one who plays Dashwood wasn't there but I asked someone about the car and he said he thought it was his own as at that time they sometimes used the actors cars for fill in shots, they also wore their own clothes for off duty shots!
