colours and choices

just a bit of help needed to make my mind up .
i have a car that is presently in sebring red which is an orangy colour as most will know i dont realy like this colour and am considering going for sunset red which is more of a true red ,
i am just a bit worried about originality though what would you guys and gals do.
help out a dopey get make his mind up

I take your point just my opinion but original colours are best and are reflected in resale value, if you repaint the car in any colour other than how it left the factory be prepared for a loss in value. Of course people that mod their cars to kingdom come "can" command good money for them but it has to be a good job, otherwise you have a car that not many want or not at top prices anyway.

as Tim said, if your not in it for the long term though, it's always going to be worth more keeping the original colour

its strange sebring looks realy great on the mk1 rs2000 all decalled up , its just i dont like it plain.

i know what your saying martin, when i had my tawney mex i always wanted to change the colour to daytona or sunset but now i wouldnt ever change an original colour of a car - but saying that its your car and if you plan on keeping it for a very long time then do what you want with it fella

Mate forget red all togeather the only colour to paint it is GREEN a proper 70's colour ACE
