you had to pay a monthly subscription to a ISP plus the cost of the call for the time you were on the internet?

I think i got the internet when this was just being phased out and getting free service from your ISP and only paying for the time on the internet .


Think it was something like £20 a month plus the calls at 1p a minute off peak and 7p peak,

It was dial up but you had to pay a subscription of £15-£20 to the isp PLUS the cost of the call time you were on the internet , it was like payg and a subscription
