ill be there again this year ,i joined the avo club in 1987 and then lost my way .one of the best weekends out there roll on fathers day

Hello everyone,I was thinking to myself the other day how many people on here are now going to give the Avo national day a miss,after they have closed their site to non members.I personally have found the Avo national day to be a well organised event at a nice location,but now i have the opinion that they may have cut off their noses to spite their faces,At the time it seemed liked a backward step to take,closing down their website to non members and i hope it doesn`t hit them hard financally.Regards Gixer1000.

yep be there as well ,like a good rant, but prefer to enjoy those lovely mk1s.
also some none avo members where giving there years of knowledge on the forum as well so i guess it works both ways, anyway thats the way it is .

look forward to seeing you all there - my only regret is that I haven't got a car to take - it is in bits and the shell probably will not be ready by then but will be in many bits with a top man (I hope) giving it some TLC.
