Geoffers and Ruddy, a dodgy trailer and a 500 Mile Round Trip

Been lurking for a while preparing for a purchase which finally happened today.... what could possibly go wrong??.....

5.15am Set off with by Mr Ruddy & an Envelope full of £20's, hours journey to borrow trailer en-route from 'a couple of top chaps' well known to Ruddy.

6.15am Realise that trailer brakes on one side are seized on, when I fall on my ass and nearly break my arm (much to Ruddy's amusement... ) trying to move said trailer...

7.15am After struggling to get trailer onto car (and slipping on my ass again) finally realise that we are getting nowhere with seized brakes and reluctantly call the AA

8.15am AA man turns up with Jack and a hammer to help and takes approx 1 minute to sort the problem but who cares coz we are off!!





11.00am Get to place called CLOWNE (yes really..) to meet guy with car


12.10am Like what we see and deal is done









Approx 250 Miles home (with a detour to pick up Ruddy's retrimmed seats..)smiling all the way home....

First fall was a 7 out of 10 , second fall I thought was best , deffo a 9 out of 10 , always funnier when they injure themselves, just like "you've been framed" , he was there one second and under the trailer the next .....pmsl

Geoffs a top lad and got himself a cracking car , if he hadn't bought it I would have . No more lurking now Geoff, get that wanted list on the BB and lets have it sorted for the Lakes.

If you and ruddy had do as you were told at 6.30 and hit the back plate the brakes would have come off then. It's like the blind leading the blind let's call the AA man for a hammer by the way nice rs2000 . all you need now is somebody to drop out of the tour and your sorted
