                          Hkh443v

                          Hi,
Just when I am being accused of being a 'lurker' here I was lurking around the forum.............. maybe you're right.

HKH443V is mine and is still off the road at the moment unfortunately. I would love to have come along, and the car doesn't need a huge amount doing, but due to work commitments and moving house I haven't even touched her for a few months so there has been no progress at all.

I have been collecting the Series-X option parts that were taken off the car at some point and 1 or 2 that she didn't have from the original dealer. I have most of these fitted now.
The rear fibreglass arches weren't fitted well from the dealer so 30 years worth of road dirt and water had collected in the bottom of the rear arches and it needs sorting out before I can get her put back together. I have also picked up a nice interior, new headlining etc so have gone from a minor bit of welding in the rear arches to stripping the car right down. I'm sure you know how it is, starts off as a weekends work to get the car on the road and ends up virtually a restoration job !

As I know I won't get time to finish her I have bought another RS2000 that is ready to go for the summer. I will try and come up in that if I can, but I'm struggling for time - I will feel a bit left out as the only one without wide arches !

                          Cheers, Rob
