Hi Steve,
National day has now been confirmed as being on the 17th August at Donington race circuit.
To ensure that this day is a success, we all need to pull together and promote the day. The club are to produce thousands of leaflets and hope that all local groups that hold regional days will help to hand the leaflets out to their general public. Also we would like for National day tickets to be sold at the regional day shows, either by show organisers or by the committee members at the show (to be discussed with each show organiser nearer the time as to the details).
As mentioned at the AGM I would like to hold a few 'casual local group meetings' throughout the year just to touch base and keep you all informed.
The first of these I propose to hold at the track day at Donington on the 24th February, time and exact place to be confirmed, where we can discuss National day/ regional days further ( but I am at the end of the phone in the mean time)
The other dates that I propose throughout the year are:
20th April Santa Pod
18th May Kames Circuit
5th July Castle Combe
20th July Nostell Priory
24th Aug Brantingham Park (National day feedback)
If you have any problems with the above please let me know.
Also, I have discussed the 'minutes of the committee meetings' today with the committee and Em is to get them to me in a couple of days and I will forward onto you all then.
Thanks
Lee

Last time it was at dono they made 25k
IT made 2k at rockingham and the track hire was free....
So thats a loss of...
Hire of donnington - 40k + 25k......-2k = 63k by moving to rockingham....
Not the best laid plan was it.
