    thinking of powder coating my front stub axles as they look as if they could go rusty whats the best way?

    If rust is your main problem/concern, get the parts galvanised. I got all suspension parts and various brackets plated in the early 90s on RVF. Never seen a spot of rust on them, only an occasional bit of powder from the zinc corroding. Have never found a powder coat finish that lasts more than a year before it cracks and lifts. It's not as durable as you would think.

        It will only lift and flake if it is undercured.
