Most of fords press cars appeared in fords brochures.
Others appeared in road test articles in magazines of the time.
Is it an early press car.
What info have you been given so far..???

the car is a 72/73 mexico, white...its a northern ireland car but i think it came from the uk originally...i cant remember the reg but any of the northern ireland lads will be able to tell me the reg...its TOO ????...there is another reg KOO ???? which is in oz or nz...

There are around 10 TOO Mex's that I know too.
They are all N reg cars so I doubt they are press cars, being at the end of production.

The KOO cars are Pre (avo) Production Mex's. All on J reg's
It as every chance some of these would be press cars.
Some of them were used for the Mex challenge Races too.

bloke from my town rallies a mk1 with a "KOO" reg. cant remember the rest of the reg. was on the RAC last year. the car was listed as "a mk1 escort twin cam." neil rudd , his name.

KOO 687J started it's life as a Mexico too.
Although it has been built up as a Twin Cam rally car for quite some years now.
I remember viewing the car in Cornwall, would be 1999.
It then appeared at an auction for sale. 2001/02
Then in was for sale at Paul Matty sportscars (lotus specialist) not long after.



Aaron I've got a sh!t load of pictures being held hostage on a hard drive that no longer works.

So getting back to the original bit of the thread what "press car" are you trying to get info on.

You thinking of buying Noel's old car, white Mex with red decals TOO something-or-other, sorry I can't remember the rest - you know what I'm like with standard type cars. I did hear it was for sale again, down there somewhere.
