  • Does anyone know Mick Barkham?

Mick was a member of the Middlesex RS group in the early days and he had and was rebuilding a Black RS2000.

Does anyone know of him and if he still has the RS2000 as I would love to meet up with him again and see his car.

PM me any contact details if thats ok with Mick please.

Yes i remember Mick from the Middlesex RSOC. The last i heard he was living in the Basingstoke area. The group used to be great i've heard it's a shadow of it's former self which is a real shame.

I'm sorry i can't help anymore than that.

      Cheers Garth

Yeah he lived out that way and had the RS in a lock up on some farm as he used mine for some measurements when rebuilding his, he also had a nice blue 3 door cossy, just wondered if he still had the Black RS2000

the middlesex group is me at the moment, have had some interest in it but I might join Nipper's local RS group near Marlow as I don't have the time to run the group.

Saw him up the ace a couple of years ago, still had the rs then.

We used to have great fun up the middlesex nights hanging the arse out of our mk2s

Glad to see you've found Mick.

Yes the Middlesex nights were great first at the White Hart and then Staines Rugby Club. Sad to hear what was the largest group in the country whittle down to nothing.

I wonder what Mark Syers is up to now?

                      Cheers Garth

                        rs

Yes its a shame, being same night as the old skool ford meet up the ace killed the meet.

No one was interested in the f,w, d cars just the old skool and big power cossys going sideways up the road

I'm sure it could be built up again, would just need to get the escorts to go back and the crowds would follow.
