  • Sat nav question

Can you buy/download updated maps for satnav sytems that dont use a memory card ?

I have a TomTom 700 which is 2 years old (the older bulky style)
And the maps are now getting out of date and i want to update them but my system does not use a memory card ,it has a small hard drive for storage.

if i can get up to date maps for it where do i get them from ? how much?

    cheers

Would like to know if there was a free way of updating.

Price to update mine would be £44, been reduced from £77

I looked into the free way of doing this. Downloaded the version 9 mapping off Utorrent but just couldn't get the codes to work. Also messed up my sat nav so had to re-set to factory settings. Just get the proper one, a lot easier but costs.

had to upload my updated maps onto my tom tom four times before it worked properly again also had to get a bigger SD card to accomodate a map upgrade to western europe took an age to do as everything went in slow motion really tested my patience tbh
