Not had to do it but go onto www.dvla.gov.uk get mot details for car (you will need V5 serial number)
This will give you an MOT reference number
This can then be reprinted at any MOT centre
Call me tomorrow morning and I try and sort as I will be running an MOT station tomorrow from 10:00

It's : http://www.vosa.gov.uk/
But it doesn't give any reference numbers
I can't find the original, the tax runs out end of December, I've tried to tax it on-line (no MOT certificate required, as the DVLA checks electronically) and I couldn't do it as the web-site says it's uninsured.
Sitting infront of me is a certificate of insurance with a schedule attached with all my vehicles on it.
So I tryed www.askmid.co.uk, and every one of my vehicles is shown as uninsured I phoned my insurers and they said "I'm looking at the screen now, and all your vehicles are on it, so it's nothing wrong here"
I think they are telling porkies, but the only way for me to tax it is with an MOT certificate, insurance certificate and the V11 at the Post office
