    not surprised he didnt make half of those jumps that bike he was
    on must have weighed half a tonne compared to that trigger guys
    lightwieght motox bike .still playing up for the cameras right to the
    end like showman he was.

      I agree a very bitter old man who was rude and still thought he was the centre of attention. I lost all respect for him after the programme.

          My mum just told me a story of going round the shops looking for a evel windup stuntbike for me when i was 7, she ended up in Liverpool and finally got it for me. Reminds me of the online Wii hunt I had earlier this month. You grow up and turn into your parents. I wonder what Ellis will be looking for in 20 years!!!

            yeah, i had one too, all the boys used to take them into school and make up stunt areas out of dirt, those where the days, can you imagine kids outside makin dirt ramps for a wind up bike, don't think so!!!!

              wish i didnt watch it now ! you have this picture in your head of evel when you was a kid , a proper legend and then you watch a program and it all goes out the window ! he was a proper horrible barsteward and with a big ego , i wouldnt have liked to be arround him in his day now ive seen the real evel real let down .

                agreed,came across as a right **** imo,seemed to disrespect anyone else try the same thing as him,lets be honest he friggin wiped out more than he landed.right man at the right time in the 70's i think.still a shame tho

                  made me laugh when he said he wasnt that impressed with the jump that was twice as far as he ever jumped. maybe he thought in modern day times on equal machinery he could have gone futher....

                  still a typical yank.

                    I had the wind-up stunt cucle as well
                    You all know the saying "you should never meet your heros" well that program is THE exact sample of why!
                    He was/is bit of a **** if i'm honist and i'm sorry i watched it TBH
                    enjoyed it but that's another bit of my childhood gone along with santa (no he doesn't really exsist, sorry an all that ) and the lie that old fords dont rust as bad as those luton products

                                watched it myself, wasn't impressed although he had to hand it to him for taking on those jumps. i actually found my stomache going weak most times watching him do his jumps as he left himself broken up battered an bruised.
