I'll let you lot know if my suspicions have not been confirmed but it's the first time I've ever lost any luggage and the bloke at the desk seemed a bit interested when I said it was "brand new".
That's the last place you expect someone to half inch your gear innit at the bloody airport

Update on the "maybe" group buy: the camcovers are for LHD cars only!

Send Herr Schulz an email this afternoon that we have a list of 29 prospective (is the word I think) buyers for in total 32 camcovers; richie and hotrs2000 haven't replied so I didn't include them in the total.
I have asked him for a quote for the groupbuy of (approx) 32 camcovers as some people may decide not to buy but on the other hand some new buyers may come forward. This quote is based upon 24 black and 8 blue covers; 1 shipped to a German address and the remaining 31 to one UK-address (taffr).
He then will send them all on individually to the buyers. This is cheaper than sending them all individually from Germany to the UK.
Herr Schulz was online cause I received a quick reply saying that tomorrow was their first day at work after the Christmas holidays and he would look into getting a quote this week. When I get that, I will send it on to "taffr" together with the exact weight of 1 camcover so he then can add the postagecosts sending them inside the UK.

The P&P costs may be cheaper if the Germans send 'em direct (individually), as sending to UK is cheap from here and I suspect that sending those covers will cost £10 alone inland UK per piece.
