Maybe this is worth a go.
I tried for months being friendly and understanding to Herr Schulze but my patience has gone (maybe into the black hole GJ is talking about these days).
But if 40 people send him an email he might put in an extra effort.
Proposition for email:

Dear Mr. Schulze (Hello Heinz),

I ordered a very nice camcover about 6 months ago from your company through Leon and Graeme who represented our Mk2 Club. I expected it to arrive in time for the 2008 concours-season but it didn't.
Could you please confirm the camcover I ordered is going to be sent to Graeme in september?
