don't worry, not a mark 2 but the wifes mk6 off the drive.
got knocked up by the police at 4.30am. said they had found my car round the corner minus its seats.someone called them at 4am to say he could see 4 lads stripping a car round the back of my house on some waste land.turns out it was my next door neighbour walking his dog ,but he wasn,t to keen to approach them,and he didn,t realise it was my car.
anyway, cops left and i had to get to work by 6am, so called taxi. got taxi man to drive me round to have a look before i went to work.got there and full interior was missing and one side skirt. doors and boot were open so i closed them and went to work.arranged with my brother to go and push it back round to mine at 9.am.
got a phone call at work at 6.30am to say the car was now on fire. they must of gone back to it and torched it to get rid of fingerprints.
funny thing is for the last 8 months i have had an impreza turbo on the drive,with full leather,18"s ect and it never got bothered. sold it,got the wife this mk6 7 days ago,and it goes.
so am now keeping my eyes open for any old escort that drives around with a nice recaro trim.
not so bothered about the car, just the in-convieniance and my n.c.b gone.still,should be getting hire car in morning off insurance.
and i would be gutted if it had been a mk2.
