i always bid last and best win or not in the last 5 seconds manualy, and it dont cost me sod all , what with ebay fees and paypal fees who needs it

What you do is bid say 10mins before so you are the top bidder.
Then with about 30 seconds to go get ready to put a bigger bid in.
The other bidders will be trying to beat your first bid and not your new one.
But as always have a price you will go to and bid no more.

I just put my max bid in . its so easy to get the red mist and pay well over the odds for item that you can but new for less money
