As most of you will be posting cards in the next few days can I give you a couple of simple tips.
Write the persons full name your item to be sent, helps if the address is wrong.
Use the full postcode (it does help more than you think)
Put a return address on the back (just in case you item can't be delivered for some reason)
Don't send cash, anything of value please use Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Make sure you put the correct postage on your items, check out www.royalmail.com for postage prices.
If you have family or friends in the Armed services please ensure you use the correct BFPO number. This is a free service up to a certain weight.
Check what you are allowed to send as certain items are banned for certain reason. IE no ADULT / X-Rated items
You will not belive the amount of mail going to our men and women who are doing their bit for us abroad, I sent 10 FULL artics of mail to them yesterday.
Follow these simply steps and your items should get though in time for Christmas.
