Check the paint out on my Mex via this thread. The Bloke I'm using used to work for Jaguar and also does work for the Ferrari Owners Club.

Word of warning. I re-sprayed a venetian red RS2000 black about 10 years ago. BIG mistake. Looked great untill I came to sell it. The value of the car plummets if you change the colour. I had so many hassles with it it was unreal. I would suggest if you're not happy with a red car then I would sell it and look for a genuine black one instead.

frosticles the car is solid and i wont find a better car i used to own this car 2years ago sold it,and them bought it back, the bloke i sold it to spent £8500 on the car, when i sold it it was black, and had always been black,he painted it red but you would never tell it was black,i love the car but i cant seem to live with the colour its got to go back to black, the car has every thing done to it and its pushing 175bhp,the time i look about for a black 1 with the bits thats mines got will take years thanks for your advise but its its going back black

Ah, If it's originally black then go for it. You'll have to completely strip it though and take it down to bare metal to get a top job done on it.

If you can get the car to the South East, I know a really good guy who specialises in MKII RS cars.
