New Car

It aint an Escort and it aint even a Ford... but i'm working on getting one.

This is the runabout for the time being...

Toyota KE25 - 1972
Been respayed in a Blue colour, origionally black.





Needs a bit of money spending on it... but not too much i hope.

Some time soon hopefully i'll have a Cortina or Escort

these are a well sought after car here in ireland...plenty of people have asked about them...looks good...were you getting it from? r us till in thialand?

Yeah, still in Thailand mate.

I have bought it already, have been looking for an Escort or Cortina for a while but there aren't too many about. I saw this, it was cheap and it looks ok, so i bought it.

Had to have a new back box on it, and today its in the garage having some other bits done, needs; speedo cable, handbrake cable and lever (missing) change plugs, points, oils, set tappets, adjust steering box etc...

Its seen a bit of filler in its time, but what do you expect, its 35 years old.

I do kind of like the shape of it now after i've got used to it.

The back lights aren't origional, they are from a KE70, and the 1200cc OHV engine is a bit of an under performer, but i dont think i will loose any money on it, as they are quite a popular car here too.

hahaha... I wouldn't mind a pint of John Smiths... they do have it here, buts its crap and expensive!!
