  • Anyone run Janspeeds s/steel exhaust

Does anybody run a s/steel janspeed exhaust with their manifold? If so what is the fit like and are there any noise and blowing issues? Cheers!

I have helped this company in Walsall set up their MOT bay and I am now the MOT tester there as well - http://www.mijperformance.com/car-exhaust-models.html

They do Stainless Systems for all makes/models

I am in talks to get MKI and MKII systems at a good price.

Sweet. Put me down for one. I might splash out on the tony law manifold to go with it!

Seen them on ebay! , thats why i wanted to know what they were like. Remember taffr's car sounded smooth with one on at avo day, and the price for the janspeed system and manifold is about £440.(sounds good, and tryed and tested.) Think the law manifold was £350 on its own. Still tempted though, quality looks awsome. Like the idea of Dave type exhaust bargain to!

Must Admit I Have Run Tony Law Exhausts On My Race Cars For About 5 Years Now And He Is Good At What He Does.
But The Janspeed Doesnt Sound Bad At That Price. I Am Thinking Of Getting One. Mine Has A Ashley System At The Moment And That Sounds Pretty Good Too.

graham, this is for the flanged join yes?? i struggled to get hold of one when i bought a mild steel system, even janspeed themselves don't stock a metal doughnut to join both halves, i still mean to do what frosty did and convert it to a sleeve join, but all the time its on the car.............

If you are going to sleeve it, Go for a VW sleeve as they are superior and dead cheap. Think they are the same as a MK2 GTI IIRC

I need a new system for mine tbh when it is back on the road anyone got a recommendation as I have the three piece 2 1/4" jobbie with a right hand exit at the rear think stainless would be ideal
