went for a little walk today on pen-y-fan in south wales, with 35LB on my back we started in three man groups at storey arms, ran most of the way up and all the way down, it took our group 1hour 20 mins, the view at the top was amazing , looking out over merthyr and cardiff to the south, brecon to the north, the weather was superb, no wind at all, would have popped in to see Mr John and rstu, but i had 17 hungry and tired squaddies with me , what a day , i like my job sometimes
