  • If you had the money.....

    Hello folks,

I'm looking to spend between 10k to 20k on a car.

I'm needing something reliable but something that cooks. What newish car would you consider buying for £10,000, £15,000 or £20,000.

I've been looking at the fiesta ST and the focus ST along with the Golf GTI. Sooo... any recommendations?

Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, a very rare car that gets lots of looks, its sooo comfy inside, lovely interior, good spec, and has 250 BHP as std. Oh and they are reliable, I used to do 25k a year in mine with NO probs ever...

Fuel costs?.....speed cameras? .....why get a performance car?

Get a good runner....eg Focus diesel or the like, and save the rest for a proper classic Ford that will not depreciate in value.

Audi A3 2.0 TDI 170 bhp S-Line, bit of a hard ride, but never lets you down in the bends, Diesel with an Auto box. Great fun

                            1: PRACTICALITY
                            2: DIESEL OR PETROL
                            3: COMFORT
                            4: LOOKS

Good all rounder, the new civic Type R, although i havn't owned the new shape one but had the previous shape, running it dosile really good on juice, power on tap if you need it but high revving engine, got to make it work, handling class, braking class, with indestructable engine...
