Treating my other car to this neat little job. Fits into a standard DIN slot. Even if it isn't period, I'd consider it for the RS because of its practicality.
In actual fact, it's basically a hard disc drive. It has a Navi system, can do the full blue tooth stuff with the optional adapter, you can copy all your music on to the hard disc and have your complete collection with you. You can watch DVD's, fit a reversing camera or whatever.
Doesn't make the tea, but does away with all those TomToms and hands-free kits.
Oh, and it plays the radio as well.
Only snag is that it needs a speedo signal for the nav. There are gadgets on the market which can put out a signal from a mechanical speedo drive though.
Cost £500 which was a whack at first, but considering it replaces radio, bluetooth and navi I thought I'd go for it. iPod adapter available too, although you can play back music from a bluetooth mp3 stick.
