I dont really think that the trophies are really relevant tbh it is the people taking part that matters as without them there would be no club.
Standard class is amazing IMO to see cars in better condition than when they left the factory really shows total 100% commitment from owners and then some and these cars are the benchmark for all the cars be they std or modified.
Modified can show what could of been done if cost is not an issue and the bar on this event gets raised every year, year in year out as has been said earlier there will always be new products to add so at the other end of the spectrum it is a challenge and that is what seems to motivate owners be their cars std or modded and my respect goes out to all who dedicat their time to this persuit I have not got the patience to do this type of stuff but I am beginning to see the fun of it, especially with my latest project I keep wanting to go out into the garage and tinker all the time.
One final thing I have noticed that everyone is approachable and friendly and always willing to help each other now thats what it is all about
