I need an official valuation on the Mk1 for the insurance policy - is there anyone local to me in the North East that can do this?

I'm not but I've just spoken to my present insurers (Footman James) about renewing and they can't because of "the custom paint job" so I need to find someone else. I'll give aon a bell now

I gave HIC a bell as I've used them before and got a quote for £192 fully comp all mods declared which is pretty good I think

lancaster accepted a valuation from the rsoc for the mexico when i needed 1, however you have to get the registrar to do itsigpic

If you're a member of the RS Owners Club, go through Boncaster. Their quote was half of what I could find elsewhere and have agreed valuation with them, so may be easier..

Yeah, I know what you mean Hally.
Laurie, the RS Owners club couldn't even come near Direct Line for my Focus
but I'll give em a go.
HIC are in the ballpark I was looking at so if no one beats em I'll use them - oh and they will take my valuation backed up with photos etc. although I'm still going to get an indepedent one as well.
