Hi all, I have been using the site for a few weeks now and found it really good, alot of banter.
I am a member of the AVO club and get a lot from the site and being a member and will always be a member.
I use to be a memeber of the RSOC nearly twenty years ago. I have got back into my RS's and joined the RSOC as well. I want to show my car next year and I'm not sure what to do. Do I need to be a RSOC member as now I understand I need to join a local group, never used to before. My understanding was years ago when you joined the RSOC that was it, it now seems to be a bit disjointed, may be I'm wrong. The old school section is also a bit in active.
If I want to show my car, not that it may win much, do I need to be a member of the RSOC or does this group do show days? Can you join this club?
Is there many people on this site from the Bristol area?

No need to join this 'club', as it's not a fee paying membership card holding kind of place.

Just by being here makes you welcome to join in at any or all of the shows that I'm sure most of us will be going to next year.

Get ready for the Lakes Tour
    Cheers Rob.

Keep an eye on this website for any show announcements

You are more than welcome to bring your car along and put it on "The Works Team" stand at shows you may wish to attend

Even though this year was a wash out at most shows we still managed to get a good turn out at a number of shows

Thanks for the replies, will get the car ready by next year and join you all for that beer that "graham john offered"

Jimmer, its up to you if you join the RSOC, I am going to go to one of the monthly meets and see how I get on. You don't have to join the main RSOC group if you don't want too and I'm sure your local group will welcome you in. I am located between the Bristol and Swindon group, so I have a choice. Where abouts are you? Got any pics of the car?
