  • Running

I started running three weeks ago every other day. Did my first 10k run Monday morning, kinda coped with it, my knees are hurting though, put that down to age. Scrubbed off quite abit of weight already and being careful what i eat. Feel alot better for it. Recovery time has really improved. Got to be good for you surely

football's far better, I used to run to better my stamina for Tae Kwon Do but I detest running and despite not doing the TKD anymore I tried running again and couldn't stick the boredom.
Football's much more fun and keeps me pretty fit too!

your not wrong, ive played badminton during for a long time now and love that, its funny, doesn,t hurt my knees at all. Running is very boring, especially running around the local lake which is 2.5k all the way round. Starting the fourth lap i was beginning to get bored. Mind you, i knew the ladies where on their way round again

don't forget, you mustn't let the training lapse or you'll be back to square one
