What happened?

Went to log in today and the site is categorised as "entertainment / hobbies" and the firewall won't let me in.

Used to be ok, so how did the category get changed?

same happened to me with ebay, its anoying, you will have to do some work now, lol

Time to time your Works IT department will probably check what sites are frequently visited,and maybe they don't think its work related,i know ours does, thats why Ebay was blocked, as some numpty left it on for hours by accident!!

I can get on old skool ford & the RSOC sites no problem but am put off with posting anything just in case... ... big brother watching.

they prolly found this site in the logs and added it to blacklist

I run our black list at work.. hehehe

there are ways round it.. but you'll get in serious trouble if caught

that's the thing I was most worried about!

Anyway, at abut the same time, ferrarichat.com got unblocked so I'll just have to transfer my loyalties for a while

I thought there was some category information in an HTML header which got the site zapped as I can't imagine that every site I try and visit and which is blocked has been personally blocked because someone in the IT dept saw the site first and manually filtered it!
