alls well now, but Julie got a call tonight about her 16 yr old daughter playing a sunday footy match in Weymouth - Georgina had twisted her back and collapsed and was not able to move
no ambulance to get her to Dorchester hospital (15 miles), so they got the bloody air ambulance helicopter out for her
got over there and shes laid out on a stretcher, mummified and strapped in with the full neck collar and head support - not what you need to see !!!!!
any way - had some tests done and slowly but surely she started to get feeling back in the legs and arms - two hours later we're bringing her home
apparently shes had some muscle spasm thats affected her, but should be ok with no long term damage - physio for the next couple of weeks when its all settled down
all very ironic, cos last week when the dorset group decided to donate to a charity for next years show at Lulworth caslte, we plummed for the air ambulance - spooky eh ?
