you have all seen the pics of my car and ive had a quote of aon insurance i have told them a value of £7000 do you think this is a realistic value or is it way over the top heres a few picks if you havent seen it , on the form i cant see if they want pics does it pay to send them anyway

I personally dont value cars anymore by viewing photos, very difficult imo

your car looks great btw and yes any info send onto the insurers and declare all mods etc, every thing helps and shows your honesty

another way to look at it, if the unthinkable happened, how much would it cost to replace it with something you would be happy with?

well i have gone with aon and submitted my agreed value form they give you a agreed value on the phone until your form has been looked at then they make a decision well who knows what will happen i sent them a few pics to help them

I would have gone more for replacement value to be honest £8-8.5K

its a road car remember its not mint it looks better in the pics than in real life needs a trip back to the painter for a touch up and polish

mine aint a RS , but im going to review the agreed value from 2.5k to 4k , its what ive been advised
