Rallying is just not going to be the same without you Colin. I will miss watching you tare threw the forests in a sideways manner on full throttle, I remember meeting you at rally catalunya in 2004 and you signed a jacket for me, that was one of the best days of my life. I have always looked forward to your possible entry to the Tour of Mull but this will remain a dream.
You drove the door handles off anything with wheels and you never stopped trying.
You have a special place in the rally world and will never be forgoten.

love the poems marcos very sad day m8, was remebering the time on the mcrae stages when yourself claire and me had to jump of the stage as mcrae blasted past in the 6r4 on drummond hill.

To think how forward i was looking to be going to the mcrae stages the day after i get off the rig to see him in full flow......i can only dream and remeber the times i did meet him and see him in action.

      R.I.P lost but never forgoten

Tragic day for motorsports fans. The world is a poorer place without Colin McRae. From the first time i seen him in the Nova in 1988, to driving Alisters's MK2 at a show this year, he was Mr Rallying.

Few photos I captured over the years are online at:

Colin this is such a sad sad loss, we are all so shocked by this terrible news. Little Johnny, your dad was the best and most highly respected rally driver ever.

RIP Colin & Johnny, god bless guys, our thoughts are with Alison and Hollie.

The rallying world has lost yet another star. His bravery, skill and car throwing antics will never be forgotten and will serve as an inspiration to us all. RIP brother.
