looks like Robin's old one as he built his engines out of 1.8 blocks.

You know what you are right Kieran went and looked today car aint seen light of day since 2000 national Day had a great time chatting to Robin about the Middx good ole days blah blah blah and yep Tim you were right after I read some books it is based on a 1.8 block bored to exactly 2.0 both the original engine and the ones I am getting with the car are all 1.8 block based all wire rung previous engine ran 170@ the wheels by the time i am done for the 2008 show season she should be pumping out around 180-200 BHP @ the wheels if all goes to plan.

It is that clean that i may well go modified concourse with it but we will see got to get it home now so should have it soon within the next couple of weeks at the latest once I have sorted the trailer and striped the seats out the galaxy then I can start to tinker

                        Will do Dave.

Looks like I will be picking it up next week so am looking to borrow an engine stand for a while if anyone local has got one that they could lend me as it will make it easier for me to work on before dropping her in the car.

I Want to detail the engine bay before fitting it anyone got any tips as I would like to lose all the visible loom in the engine bay so it looks really clean with it all hidden away any thoughts or general tips on making her look really clean and smooth would be appreciated.
