I'm well P'd off.. rant thread !!!!

For my lovely wife and for her 40th I bought her a driving experience at Goodwood (911RS, Cobra, E-type & DB4). Had a phone call from the company that runs the events at goodwood to say the company I got the valid voucher from has be Dissolved and the experience cant go ahead (in much better words).

The company who run these events has offered a discounted ticket but I'm still £220 out for %^$%&^$&^%% pocket... and because I did it via Paypal I cant claim it back because its over 45 days old... well p'd off.

Charge Back

Hi to all.

The first item I bought on ebay was paid for with PayPal. the item was faulty and the seller, ebay and PayPal were unhelpful.

As I had Paypal set up with my credit card, I contacted my Visa company who advised me to send the item back registerd post and they did a 'charge back', i.e. refunded the money back into my credit card account.

Needless to say, the seller wasn't happy and PayPal sent me a warning letter, but never heard any more about it.

I am still getting emails from other buyers about how to do a chargeback.

Hope this helps, but it depends if you fund PayPal with your Credit card or not.
