  • DVLA History.

    Is it still right that if u send the DVLA £5 they will send you copies of the history of your car??

      Takes a good four weeks or more to come back , definately worth a fiver though .

        you need to go on their web site and down load a form to fill in but can't remember the name of it, mine took about 7 weeks to come back but deffo worth it

          Got mine from the previous owner. Found out it has had 3 plate changes...... (All private though)

                The Form Is Called V888 I Think , Just Got Mine Back From The Dvla, £5, 6 Weeks And All Your History Even The Original Bill Of Sale , Some Dodgy Photocopies Though , Weel Worth It

                    You usually get the original request for first road tax, filled in by supplying dealer, shows salesmans name (sometimes) , supplying dealers name . first owners. date of registration. Never had a copy of bill of sale as thats nowt to do with DVLA.

                          got mine last year the dvla must of been out of pocket with mine well with 14 owners it must have cost that in paper lol

                              Yep, its the request for tax, usually has the salesman's name on it though and the dealer stamp.

                              It's an interesting read mine has just "one lady owner" (but eight males too )
