Hi. Well we had our first outing in the MK2 since we got it yesterday and did the show at Ollerton then over to Derby RS meet then home. 225 miles so not a bad first trip.
Car went well apart from on the way there, anything above 70mph there was a grumbling noise from drivers side rear area - presumed wheel bearing perhaps?
Antway, on way home from Derby it never did it once in over 100miles so a bit weird but something to look at over winter........any ideas on what it could be welcome but presume its bearing not diff as it isn't a whine at all and it isn't bump related - definately speed related.
Anyway, show was really good and the Notts RS group had a superb display with some great cars, notably some Mk1's and 2's off here.
Met Martin with the yellow MK2 - Lovely car and a superb white mex and Phil with the mint Black RS2 along with some other great cars on there.
Some nice non ford stuff too...............
They deservedly won an award for best club stand
Looking forward to croft this weekend now
