        Well boys she is home!!! Not driven a mk2 for nearly a year and boy have I missed it. Kept looking for 5th gear though but she only got a 4 speed box. The 1.6 engine not as fast as the old 2000 but what a buzz. She's off for mot in the morning. Will get some pics up over the weekend.

        So glad to be back, it's been a long 11 months

          our mk2 has a 4 speed box aswell,my dad is always looking for 5th

                front cross member, drivers side chassis rail, area below fuel tank, front discs and pads and drivers side rear wheel cylinder leaking. also both front strutt towers. gonna spend the winter doing the work and get her on the road for next years lakes tour. pics deffo will follow but been working today so no time.

                        did you know the mot tester?

                        why not get a second opinion before getting the work done?

                          yEAH HE DOES ALL OUR MOT'S AT WORK FOR US, HE EVEN SHOWED ME so I know it needs doing unfortunately.
