If you own a W reg escort RS2000 what date was it first reg and state if Custom or Base and which part of the country it was reg at, if you know.
Lets see who has the newest RS.
If it states not built from new parts on your logbook or words to that effect it dont count .

I think mine's a July or August built date, its a Custom RS2000 X-pack from Germany.

This is probably not relevant to this thread but my car is recorded as manufactured in (and it was) 1988 and was first registered 3/5/1988. it was obvisously a one off, built for Ford dealer- lyons of limerick, and the chassis number starts KLOL. it was built with a 2 litre BD, but the logbook says Escort L. It is now on a private plate but the dvla would give it an E prefix in acordance with their records. Several people have told me in rallying circles that they belived this was the last Mk 11 to come from Ford. But this is unsubstantiated. Its original number plate was 88 LK 1000

Remember that car 88 LK 1000 very well, the tommy randles dynorod dyglow orange, has it still got a 2.4 millington engine in it !

yes its still got the Millington , but just before i bought it off Tommy he had it taken out to 2.5, and its still Dayglo orange.

Hi, Had a rs2000 custom red. 1981 June. XEM 625 W. Was told later was a ex police car. Not bad first post after two years.
