Aldridge appear to be the company of choice, or so it seems, as anyone used this place before , click the 'ford stuff' , quite comprehensive.

I used Aldridge for some remedial work on my Recaros whilst waiting to find new brown beta fabric, have to say that I was not impressed with either the quality of the workmanship or the price they charged.

lets face it you are not going to get beta fabric any where else these days thats for sure , or less you have had it stashed away for the last 15 years or more.
every now and again you see some on ebay but most of this is still the original batch of repro fabric that aldridge used to sell by the metre.
aldridge do a huge range of covers ready to fit .
            mk1
            rs recliners
            contour cutoms
            contour works
            aerotech pvc
            straight stitched pvc
scheel [how rare do you want it]
all one price ,then just get a trusted upholsterer to fit them lovely .

Spoke to the guy at Aldridge today, they are currently waiting for a batch of beta to come in, roughly about a 3 week wait. Was pricing up a full retrim of base fronts and rear seat, roughly about £650 if I drop the seats off, didn't think that was too bad , not that I have £650 laying around but I would like them done before next year. He also said that they reproduce the MK2 standard door cards which I was not aware of, about £125 a pair.

Looks like I have got a bit of saving up to do .....
