Glyn, I had a 2004 version , 2.5td , kept it about 6 weeks , 13mpg towing and 23mpg unladen was the best I ever saw out of it , thirstiest ****er I have ever owned ..................apart from me Focus RS

Me mates one kept eating rear axle bearings, wheel end first then after 4 sets of them the diff went, apparently there are 2 axles, the larger of the 2 is the one to have, the smaller just aint up to it, his was an N reg but i do hear they sorted the weak axle (basicly stopped fitting it), his was petrol straight 6 never saw 20 from it and he vever towed
