Took my mk2 RS to work today.. and on the way home 2 lads in there 20,s stopped next to me at the lights and shouted "hey mate!, your car,s Boss, IS IT A CORTINA??!!
It was right then i felt old....

Sounds familiar Paul, My mates son as a Mk1 golf with 2 litre 16V in it.
I've driven the car & it's quite quick torque steers like fcuk though. He was trying to tell me about all the boy racers he's seen off with it.
Took him out in my van he'd slagged it off plenty. When I eventually stopped I had to prize his fingers out of the seat bolsters, he'd still got the shakes ten minutes later.
