You probably mean CO reading as that is an indication of how rich the mixture is. The CO2 reading is used to give an indication of leaks in the exhaust system. For older cars the CO reading can be as high as 4,5% or even 6,0%.

The place that I go to for the past two years haven't been able to read my CO, just comes out as 0% and thats with the pipe thing up my exhaust.

Nope its ok as had it set up at Bogg Brothers and the CO was spot on, its just the MOT station pipe doesn't read my car for some reason.

Dont forget the HC's (Hydrocabons) !

                        Value allowed is 1200

Slight misfires, worn carbs, incorrectly set-up carbs etc etc
                        will all effect HC readings
