Anyone have any experience of these cars (1977 or earlier)?

Some are now classed as vintage over here, and there would be demand if they were any good.

I know they have glass fibre bodies, some have dubious electrics, Essex V6 3000 engines, and some rusty chassis.

Are they better or worse than Reliant Scimitars?

A few of my mates have worked for Harrogate horseless carriages over the years They were the Biggest dealer of TVR outside Blackpool, They always loved the cars but had some frightening stories,You wouldnt believe the amount of packers/washers and spacers they used to get the body to sit straight on the chassie ,Some of the lads still work there now and still perfer the older cars but thats progress for you, If the chassis is good and the fiberglass/gel is holding up then everything else is cheap and easy to get hold of As for the Scimitar question Why !!!!!!
    cheers Paul
p,s, guess whats the most common sold part for newish ones????
