Curborough Sprint Day - 22nd July 2007

I have been contacted by the Wolverhampton and South Staffs Car Club

They have arranged a sprint day at Curborough on the 22nd July

I have been offered 15 places to this event

Anyone interested ?

Cost £30 (£25 + £5 Temporary club membership WSSCC)

or

£37 (£25 + £12 Full year membership)

Helmet must be worn

98 DB noise limit

No full slicks

Moulded slicks are allowed

Free to spectate

Curborough is at Fradley Nr Lichfield just off A38

Well Twink I make that yet another event with 2 RS1800's in attendance

The Red popster is coming to spectate

Just read regs and event is from 12:30 - 17:30

Am on the look out for a nearby campsite

Even if Hally turns up nobody has to get up early

The word "practice" is missing between "sprint" and "day". There was a time when actual sprint entries were only £30........a time long ago.
At least double for a modern sprint entry indicates the appalling overheads carried because of MSA fees etc.
Won't be many truly competitive roadgoing, leave alone modprod, actual sprint cars if it's a 98Db limit (MSA speed event limit is 104Db).
