I knew Dave Easton was leaving but I presumed the position would be advertised in Rallye News then voted in at the AGM as per normal?

You must be Neil, I saw it advertised in the last issue.

They would hardly wait till the AGM to appoint someone else as that would mean someone on the committee would have to try and organise concours at the regional days & natday ! ! !

I also applied for the position, but when I discovered that Wayne was also willing to take it it, I withdrew my application as I believe that he will have more time to put to the job that I do. (It would also have meant that I wouldn't have been able to show my skater at national day as well )
