It's a 1300 XL, that's how they came from the factory

Seems a shame to break it, but the pictures may not tell the whole story, has it had a whack since they were taken for example ??

Lets be honest gents, this is what happens when the rally boys only want the good shell , how many nice MK2 pops etc have gone for good money recently, bet a majority of them are stripped now. The guy I bought my last mk2 RS from (the signal red one) said he had been offered £5k just for the shell, he could strip it and keep the rest.

If I remember right this car was in a showroom for years at a dealers on the A6 in Lancashire.
Preston area(ish) I tried to buy it on several ocasions, it wasn't for sale. I think he eventually sold it in 2002.

If it's the same car it is as good as new... the shell is ****in superb.
