      Bummer mate.

Similar experience with my black RS (well it certainly was black by the time it had gone out)

did anybody ever ask you to take them for a "burn" in your car then?

No, I sacked them from my business so they thought they would take it out on my car.

Carnival Red is a very early colour , MK2 would have to be on a P or possibly v early R plate to be Carnival Red . There was a 2000 in Classic Ford a good few months back , readers cars , was it OVX or something on a P plate. , that was carnival red. Also Simon Lester used to show a mk2 RS2000 a good few years back 'NOD368P' .

ps Vinny , the one on Ebay definately looks Venetian red to me !!!!!!!!

                    Hi Lads,

What ever happened to NOD as i seem to remember it was one of the first really early concours RS2000. Is it still around?

                    Cheers,

                    Garth

the police officer who came to my 'assistance' on the M6 must not of been a mk2 fan.

i had been honest with him on the day saying that i 'wasnt covered for insurance' while the fire engine was filling my car with water and the smoke closed the M6 south for 15 mins.

he tried to prosceute me for no insurance and no tax, he kindly took me to court and I got fined £13 for no road tax for one day (i can drive other cars on my insurance).

some people eh, talk about kick you while your down
