Amazing car, however I don't think i'd swap for my 116k miler. JNF's had a nice life and some interesting owners, the overall history of the car appeals to me more than something thats been locked away for years.

It's owned by Laurence Doherty I think. Not sure if he's from N.I. or Donegal. Ireland being Ireland the most northerly point of the Island is technically in the "South".

I met him at a show in Cork as few years ago.

The Falklands story is correct.

I don't think it's ever driven. Personally I wouldn't enjoy trailering it about to shows, but the owner seems to and that works for him so fair enough.

The car is as near perfect as is possible I'd say.

Well a big part of me would love to own a MKII in that condition but, as so many have said, I'd have to be driving it. I wonder just how good it feels to drive - being so low mileage and all.
